Its great to see that Fionn Regan’s debut album was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize. I bought it when it first came out and both Catherine and I love every second of it, but until now it doesn’t seem to have had the recognition it deserves. When you see some of the guff its up against you’d like to think it stands a chance of winning but in reality there’s probably only one real contender, yep, the Partick Junkies (or whatever they’re called).
