Today we got the phonecall that every person who has sold their house and bought another house dreads. The phonecall where they tell you that the people who are buying your house are not actually buying your house. Apparently they can’t afford it. So what do we do? Put our house back on the market and hope we can sell it ASAP for the same amount of money. And pray. A lot!
Putting the house back on the market involves unpacking all the boxes of things that were packed a month ago and making it look presentable again. Andy spent all day doing that and it was actually done by the time I got home from work so that was nice (for me!)
Speaking of Andy, he knew today was going to be a bad day when he found a spider in his trousers this morning. There’s nothing that scares him more in the world than spiders. In fact, that was almost definitely worse for him than the house sale falling through.

That must be so frustrating. Sorry for you guys. I’m sure it’ll sell again pretty quickly though.
Let’s hope so. We have three viewings arranged for tomorrow evening so at least there’s some interest already. A bit of a nightmare though!
